Forgive me, I've been very busy.
So yeah, I haven't exactly drawn anything lately. Sad, really. I have, however, down a few literary pieces. Mostly essays and journal essays of sorts. And tiny memoirs. I'm thinking about posting them, but my literary pieces aren't that good and I'd hate to be shunned. xD I really want to post up my Lyric Essay...it's almost like a poem...except it is still an essay. Not sure yet...70% chance that I will but I'm not completely convinced that I should do it.
I've got some other pieces that most likely will be posted because I love them. My English professor is really great. She tries to make us write our own pieces, and I mean our own...coming up with our own descriptions, with very few to zero cliches. She's quite good at that, actually.
I'm pretty excited about the last few weeks of the semester. Exams are going to be brutal, yes, but I'm prepared. I really believe that I'm going to do well! Plus, I've got almost the whole of January off! How cool is that?! Which means I get to RP more on SS! The McGuffin Menace is BACK. Heehee. Look out, Hogwarts, it's Pirate invasion time!
I really want to draw more too, and since I've got a lot of time next month, I might re-draw some of my previous RP characters. I think I've learned a few tricks from looking at other works of art and I just might improve. Now if only I could get someone to tutor me in how to edit and color my artwork via PhotoShop.
Photoshop Elements is proving to be difficult to work with. Everybody else has CS3 or CS4 and the tutorials only work if you've got the same version. *sigh* Oh well. Maybe I can convince my parents to let me take lessons or something.
On a different note...I think it's sort of unfair that only the people with premium membership get cool journal skins. :/ I mean, at least have us poor people have about 5 journal skins to choose from! Oh well...you can't always have everything.
Now excuse me while I mull over what I might post and what I want to draw.
